Erdoğan discusses regional issues with Saudi Crown Prince

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Axar.az reports that the information was released by the Turkish Presidential Administration.

During the call, bilateral relations between Turkiye and Saudi Arabia, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.

Erdoğan expressed that they intend to further deepen cooperation between Turkiye and Saudi Arabia through future initiatives.

The Turkish President also noted that official Ankara is closely monitoring developments in Somalia and Yemen, emphasizing that preserving the territorial integrity of both countries is crucial for regional stability. He stated that Turkiye is ready to contribute to efforts aimed at bringing the parties in Yemen together.

Erdoğan further highlighted that the humanitarian situation in Gaza has worsened during the winter, stressing that Turkiye continues to work toward achieving a permanent ceasefire and the reconstruction of the region.
