Azur Air plane makes emergency landing in China

A Russian Azur Air Boeing 757 passenger plane flying from Phuket, Thailand, to Barnaul is preparing for an unscheduled landing in Lanzhou, China.

Axar.az reports according to the information, while the plane was in Chinese airspace, it issued the emergency code 7700, which indicates a general emergency on board, signaling the need for immediate assistance due to technical, medical, or other critical issues requiring urgent response.

It is noted that there are 238 people on board.
