Humanitarian corridor in Syria’s Ayn al-Arab open

The humanitarian corridor in Syria's Ayn al-Arab region is operating without obstacles.

Axar.az reports that Kurshat Zorlu, Deputy Chairman of Turkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and Head of the General Directorate for Relations with Turkic States, said this during a visit to the Aleppo provincial administration.

Answering journalists' questions, Kurshat Zorlu said that the integrity, unity, and reconstruction of Syria in the coming period are of great importance to Turkiye. According to him, the region must also be safe for a terror-free Turkey:

"Therefore, our goal of a terror-free Turkiye and a terror-free region cannot be thought of separately from the events in Syria. Despite all the provocations of the terrorist organization, we believe that the steps taken by the Damascus leadership in this regard will bear fruit in the coming days."

He emphasized that people are currently being transferred to safe regions through the corridor.
