Kazakhstan and Israel sign visa-free travel memorandum

Following official talks in Astana, the foreign ministers of Kazakhstan and Israel, Yermek Kosherbayev and Gideon Sa’ar, signed a series of bilateral documents.

Axar.az informs, citing Qazinform News Agency, the documents included memorandums of intent on a potential agreement to waive visa requirements for holders of national passports, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in public diplomacy, and a separate document on cooperation in the training of diplomatic personnel.

The talks also focused on expanding trade, economic, investment, innovation and humanitarian cooperation.

It is noted that Sa’ar was on a visit to Azerbaijan the day before.
