Tehran supports initiatives for peace and stability

Tehran welcomes any initiative that will contribute to strengthening peace and preventing war.

Axar.az reports that Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian said this in a conversation with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

"Iran has always been and is ready to welcome any process that leads to peace, tranquility, and the prevention of conflicts and wars within the framework of international law. At the same time, it works for all people in the world to live together in peace and tranquility," he noted.

Salman, in turn, stressed the unacceptability of any aggression or threat against Iran and said that Saudi Arabia is ready to cooperate with the Islamic Republic in any way to establish lasting peace and security in the Middle East.
