Tehran to open 300+ underground sites as shelters

More than 300 underground facilities, stations, and metro stops in Tehran will be used as shelters for residents.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Ali Nasiri, head of Tehran’s Crisis Management Organization.

“After the necessary procedures are completed and permissions obtained, shelters with a capacity of approximately 2.5 million people will be established,” Nasiri said.
