Families of Russian Embassy staff evacuated from Iran

Family members of staff at the Embassy of Russia in Tehran have been evacuated from Iran, while diplomats and administrative-technical personnel remain at their posts.

Axar.az informs, citing Russian media, “On March 3, family members of diplomatic mission staff — including children — as well as some support staff and teachers from the embassy’s secondary school were evacuated,” the source at the embassy said.

“Diplomats and administrative-technical personnel remain in place and continue carrying out their duties,” he added.
