Turkiye tells Iran violation of its airspace unacceptable

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, according to sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye.

Axar.az informs during the conversation, Fidan stressed that the violation of Turkiye’s airspace was unacceptable and underlined that Ankara would continue taking all necessary measures to prevent such incidents.

He also noted that all parties should refrain from actions that could undermine regional security and pose risks to civilians.

Araghchi, for his part, said the missiles that entered Turkish airspace were not launched from Iran and added that a comprehensive investigation into the incident would be conducted.
