NATO is not participating in military operations in the Middle East, chairman of the Alliance Military Committee, Italian Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone said.

Axar.az informs that he said it is difficult to predict how long the conflict will last in an interview with the Italian daily la Repubblica.

“Let’s see how the United States and Israel assess the results achieved on the battlefield. NATO is not involved in the military operations, and we do not have as detailed an analysis of the situation as they do,” he noted.

According to him,ensuring security in the Strait of Hormuz remains an extremely difficult, but also feasible task.
