Israeli ambassador summoned to Russian Foreign Ministry

Israel’s ambassador to Russia, Oded Yosef, visited the Russian Foreign Ministry after being summoned over the wounding of RT journalist Steve Sweeney during Israeli shelling in southern Lebanon.

Axar.az informs, according to Russian media, he diplomat spent about 45 minutes at the ministry.

On March 19, an Israeli aircraft fired a missile at a vehicle carrying RT journalists as they were crossing a bridge near a military base in Lebanon. Correspondent Sweeney and his cameraman were injured in the strike.
