Iran calls for ceasefire to reopen Strait of Hormuz

Normalization [in the Strait of Hormuz] requires [US-Israel] stopping attacks and that the cessation of hostilities must be accompanied by guarantees preventing any recurrence of aggression.

Axar.az reports, citing Tasnim, that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made the statement in a phone conversation with Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

It should be noted that earlier, 22 countries issued a joint statement condemning Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
