Military parade to be held in Yerevan

A military parade will be held in Yerevan’s Republic Square on May 28, marking Armenia’s First Republic Day.

Axar.az informs that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that it is not so much a parade as a “report to the citizens of Armenia.”

He assured that it will be an impressive spectacle for the public.

Pashinyan added that a parade is a very delicate matter and may create the impression of abandoning the peace agenda. “Therefore, we continue to work with international partners, including countries of the region, so that they do not perceive this as a rejection of the peace agenda,” he noted.
