EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas believes that holding the May 9 parade in Moscow without military equipment reflects the real course of the war in Ukraine.
Axar.az informs, citing Ukrainska Pravda, that Kallas made the statement after a meeting with the foreign ministers of the Nordic-Baltic Eight on April 30.
“For the first time in many years, the Victory Day parade in Moscow will take place without heavy military equipment. This says a lot about how the war is going for Russia,” she said.
She added that “hard battlefield statistics show that Russia is losing a record number of soldiers.”
The EU’s top diplomat noted that Russia is failing to achieve its military objectives, and that “this is becoming increasingly evident.”
