Germany, in essence, has never underwent real denazification.

Axar.az reports that Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council and Chairman of the “United Russia” party Dmitry Medvedev stated that Western powers instead chose “to justify Nazi war criminals” rather than properly carry out the process.

“In essence, the Federal Republic of Germany has never underwent real denazification. Archival materials from Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, including a 1952 report on the political situation in West Germany, clearly show that instead of carrying it out, Western powers chose to justify Nazi war criminals. The entire process, except for the liquidation of openly pro-fascist organisations and the cleaning of public spaces, turned into an empty farce,” he added.
