Lavrov, Rubio hold phone talks on bilateral ties

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio have held a telephone conversation.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a message by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the statement, the two officials “touched base” on the current situation in international affairs and Russia–U.S. relations, and also discussed the schedule of bilateral contacts.

The ministry emphasized that the conversation was constructive and business-like in nature.
