Kyrgyzstan requests embassy site in Azerbaijan

Kyrgyzstan has appealed to the Azerbaijani government with a request to allocate a land plot for the construction of an embassy building in Baku.

Axar.az reports that the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan, Maksat Mamytkanov, made the statement in an interview with APА.

“We have appealed to the Azerbaijani government with a request to allocate a land plot for the construction of a fully-fledged embassy in Baku. Our intention to build the embassy with the relevant buildings and facilities proves that we are interested in expanding and deepening cooperation between the two states, and we hope that the issue will be resolved positively,” the ambassador noted.
