US struck Iranian coastal city and island in Hormuz

U.S. forces struck Iran’s coastal city of Bandar Abbas and the island of Qeshm in the Strait of Hormuz.

Axar.az reports, citing Fox News, after Iranian media reported explosions in both locations.

The official said the strikes do not represent a resumption of the war, amid ongoing tensions and diplomatic efforts aimed at preventing renewed fighting between Washington and Tehran.

Iranian media earlier reported hearing blasts in Bandar Abbas and on Qeshm Island, a strategically important area near one of the world’s busiest oil shipping routes.
