Meloni praises Poland’s continued support for Ukraine

Poland has consistently maintained its support and solidarity with Ukraine over the past four years.

Axar.az reports, citing Italian media, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni made the remarks during a press statement following her meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Rome on Thursday.

“Over the last four years, Poland has never failed to provide its support and solidarity to Ukraine. I think this is something else we must thank Poland for,” Meloni said.

She noted Poland’s role in hosting more than one million Ukrainian refugees and praised its contribution to European solidarity.

“Through the Prime Minister, I would therefore like to thank the Polish people. Their solidarity is an example for everyone.”
