Air Anka denied permission for Russia flights

Turkiye’s charter airline Air Anka has been denied permission to operate flights to Russia.

Axar.az reports, citing Izvestia, that the airline is now forced to cancel flights to and from Russia.

“The airline started selling tickets without coordinating with our aviation authorities,” the source said.

According to the report, passengers were stranded at airports in Russia and Antalya.

Air Anka, founded in 2021 and based in Izmir, specializes in charter flights and aircraft leasing.
