Turkish IHA-230 missile sparks concern in Israel

Concerns have deepened in Israel over Turkiye’s development of the IHA-230 missile.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that Israel’s Maariv newspaper described the system as a step that could significantly alter the balance of air power in the Middle East and mark a major leap in Turkiye’s deep-strike capability.

The publication also claimed that Ankara has longer-term plans in the field of missile development.

In its analysis, Maariv noted that the IHA-230 is a supersonic, ballistic-type munition launched from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and designed for integration with attack drones.

According to the report, the system can strike targets at ranges exceeding 150 kilometers and is capable of maintaining high precision even in electronic warfare conditions.
