UN supports efforts to hold Russia-Ukraine talks

Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General Farhan Haq said that the United Nations supports all efforts aimed at holding negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Haq made the remark while commenting on the visits of U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner to Moscow and Kyiv.

“We encourage all efforts aimed at holding negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation,” he said.
