No tensions with Russia, says Armenian PM

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that relations with Russia are based on mutual respect and have an institutional foundation.

Axar.az reports that Pashinyan made the remarks to journalists after casting his ballot in the parliamentary elections.

According to him, the current tensions with Russia are artificial.

“Certain forces operating in Armenia are trying to create tensions in Armenia–Russia relations. These tensions are not created for the simple reason that I have very close relations with the President of the Russian Federation,” he said.
