Russia loses 200 troops to capture one square kilometer

Russian army losses have now reached about 200 personnel per day for every square kilometer of occupied territory.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that Dmytro Zhmailo, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Security and Cooperation Center, made the remarks.

“On average, the occupying forces lose about 200 personnel per day for every square kilometer they capture,” Zhmailo said.

According to him, Russian forces are effectively able to advance in only one or two sectors, around Kostiantynivka and other parts of the Donetsk region. There, they have concentrated troops that outnumber Ukrainian forces “several times over.”

“In other sectors of the front, they have lost the initiative,” Zhmailo added.
