The war is returning to where it came from.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted the results of long-range Ukrainian drone strikes against Russian fuel and military infrastructure.

According to the President, Ukrainian forces carried out successful “long-range sanctions” in response to Moscow’s continued aggression, with key targets hit in Russia’s Yaroslavl and Tula regions.

“Ukraine is implementing a plan of long-range sanctions against Russia and assigned tasks regarding mid-strikes in response to Russia’s refusal to end this war. We offered the Russian leadership all possible negotiation formats, and the response was only continued aggression and attempts to expand it,” Zelensky said.

One of the main successes was a strike on a strategic fuel facility in the Yaroslavl region, located more than 700 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

Zelensky also noted that Ukrainian forces hit an industrial site in the Tula region, including the “Azot” plant, which is linked to explosives production. He added that six Russian airports faced temporary flight restrictions and air raid alerts were declared across 28 regions of Russia.
