Russian drone attack shuts Orlivka ferry crossing

Russian forces attacked the Orlivka ferry crossing on the Romanian border with strike drones overnight.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that the crossing is currently not operational, and emergency responders have contained the fire at the site where the UAV struck.

“Overnight, Russia attacked the Orlivka international ferry crossing on the border with Romania with Shahed-type strike UAVs.

As a result of the attack, the building and the territory of the crossing were hit, causing fires that were contained by emergency responders,” State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS) said.

The crossing is temporarily closed, and the processing of citizens and vehicles through Orlivka has been suspended.
