Zelensky: Putin has no intention of ending war in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has no intention of stopping the war against Ukraine.

Axar.az reports, citing local media, that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made the remarks.

However, important progress can be achieved on the diplomatic front regarding the peace process.

“Unfortunately, at present, all intelligence information available to both us and our partners indicates that the Russian leader personally wants more war,” he said.

The president noted that the vast majority of Russian society already wants the war along the front line to stop:

“We will see what the representatives of the U.S. president can achieve. September could change a lot, and together with our partners, we must do everything we can to protect people and promote peace.”
