Iranian FM to head to Geneva to sign agreement with US

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi are set to travel to Geneva to sign an agreement with the United States, The New York Times reported.

Axar.az informs, according to the NYT, that US Vice President James David Vance will represent Washington at the ceremony, which is scheduled for June 19.

If it goes ahead, the event would mark the highest-level engagement between Washington and Tehran in 47 years.
