Beghaei: US and Iran have signed MoU electronically

Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, has announced that a memorandum of understanding with the United States has been finalised and signed electronically by both sides.

Axar.az informs, citing Al Jazeera, he added that the agreement has already gone into effect.

“The text of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding was finalised with the signatures of the presidents. Now it is time to test the implementation of the agreement,” he noted.

It should be noted that Baghaei had previously stated that the memorandum of understanding with the United States could be signed by the presidents of Iran and the United States.
