A memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran was signed electronically by the presidents of both countries.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Ismail Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

US President Donald Trump also confirmed the signing of the mutual memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran. “Yes, it is signed,” the US president said after his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Palace of Versailles.

““I signed it in Versailles. I just signed it,” Trump emphasized.

It should be noted that Baghaei had previously stated that the memorandum of understanding with the United States could be signed by the presidents of Iran and the United States.
