Kremlin says unaware of reported Baku talks

The Kremlin says it has no information about the reported meeting between Russian and German representatives in Baku.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the remarks during a briefing.

"No, I have no information about such a meeting, and I have nothing to tell you about it," Peskov said.

It should be noted that earlier, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated during a joint press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Berlin that secret talks between Russian and German representatives had taken place in Baku in mid-July.
