Iran threatens ground operation against US bases

Iran has threatened to launch a ground operation targeting U.S. military bases in Iraq, Bahrain and Kuwait if the United States initiates a ground offensive.

Axar.az reports, citing Iranian media, that the statement was made by Iranian lawmaker and former Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.

"If the United States launches a ground invasion, Iran will immediately begin a ground operation against American military bases in Iraq, Bahrain and Kuwait," he said.
