Araghchi accuses Zelensky of attacking Iranian vessel

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of ordering an attack on an Iranian commercial vessel that allegedly killed a sailor, calling it a "blatant violation" of the UN Charter.

Axar.az informs that in a post on X, Araghchi claimed the attack was carried out "at Israel's behest" in an attempt to draw Europe into the conflict.

"I made it clear in calls with EU High Representative Kaja Kallas and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov that what the freeloader in Kyiv did cannot go unanswered," he said.

Araghchi did not provide evidence to support the allegations.
