Trump threatens strike on Iran's Pickaxe Mountain

U.S. President Donald Trump said the United States would "very easily" destroy Iran's heavily fortified Pickaxe Mountain facility if Tehran fails to reach a nuclear agreement with Washington.

Axar.az reports that, speaking in an interview with Fox & Friends ahead of a White House meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump dismissed concerns about the site, which is believed to house deeply buried nuclear facilities.

"We have the greatest cameras in the world focused on it. I know exactly what's going on at Pickaxe. It's not a big problem," Trump said. "We took out their nuclear sites, and we'll have to take out Pickaxe if we don't make a deal. We don't make a deal, we'll take it out very easily."

Pickaxe Mountain is a deeply buried underground complex in central Iran near the Natanz nuclear facility, where thousands of nuclear centrifuges are believed to have been relocated.
