Zelensky says Trump meeting productive

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump was productive.

Axar.az reports that Zelensky said on Telegram that he thanked Trump for all the work being done to protect Ukrainian lives and achieve peace.

"First of all, I expressed our condolences to President Trump over the death of Lindsey Graham. He was a true friend of Ukraine. We discussed licenses for the production of interceptor missiles for Patriot air defense systems, as well as several other ideas that could help," Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian president added that the two leaders also discussed diplomatic efforts.

"We also talked about diplomacy—it is important to intensify the diplomatic process. Our teams will coordinate the details of their further communication. I am grateful to the United States for its steadfast support," Zelensky said.
