The US dollar has hit a record high of 210,000 tomans on Tehran’s free market.

Axar.az reports, citing Iranian media, that the dollar reached 210,600 tomans on Monday afternoon, while the euro also hit a new record, surpassing 244,000 tomans.

The Azerbaijani manat also strengthened sharply, trading above 124,000 tomans.

As a result, the dollar’s price on Tehran’s free market has risen by around 20,000 tomans over the past week since the United States declared an economic war.
