EU Foreign Policy chief Federica Mogherini said on
Friday that the European Union is fully committed to the
implementation of Iran nuclear deal known as JCPOA.
Mogherini made the remarks on the sidelines of the second round
of talks between Iran and EU in Brussels.
She also noted that all the parties involved have to remain
committed to the implementation of the deal reached between Iran
and the six world powers last year.
The second round of Iran-EU talks was held in the Belgium
capital co-chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-e
Ravanchi and Secretary General of the European External Action
Service Helga Schmid.
In this round of talks, the two delegations discussed a wide
range of issues, including economic, trade, banking and energy
issues as well as the environment, refugees and immigrants, drug
control and natural disasters.
The two sides also discussed the latest regional developments,
particularly what's going on in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and
Afghanistan.
Part of the second round of Iran-EU talks was also focused on
preliminary discussions about human rights issues.
The next round of Iran-EU talks is scheduled to be held in
Tehran within the next six months.
