Armenia opposition bloc representative detained in Vanadzor

Armenia’s opposition “Armenia” bloc has said that its representative in Vanadzor, Artur Ohanyan, has been detained.

Axar.az reports, citing Armenian media, that bloc member Narek Mantashyan announced the detention on social media, saying Ohanyan was detained by the Anti-Corruption Committee.

It should be noted that Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Court has ordered a two-month detention for former President and “Armenia” bloc leader Robert Kocharyan.

He has been charged with large-scale money laundering, abuse of office, and receiving a large bribe.
