The United States is ready to work with Iran to return to the nuclear deal.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from newly elected US President Joseph Biden in an interview with the New York Times. He said it would not be easy for the United States to return to the agreement.

Biden said that if Iran acquires a nuclear weapon, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt and other countries will try to do the same.

"Increasing nuclear capacity in this part of the world is the last thing we want."
