The global governance system must be more equal and fair.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Chinese President Xi Jinping during a speech at the Boao Forum as an alternative to Beijing's Davos Forum. He said that the rules set by several states should not be forced on others.

Xinping said that the creation of barriers did not benefit anyone:

"The world wants justice, not hegemony. Great powers must behave like really great people and show that they have a great responsibility."
