The name of Russian orientalist Yevgeny Satanovsky will be added to the list of undesirable people of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, ministry spokesman Hikmat Hajiyev told local media on Tuesday.

According to the spokesman, the president of the Moscow-based Institute of the Middle East Yevgeny Satanovsky, in violation of Azerbaijan’s Law “On state border” and Migration Code, paid an illegal visit to Azerbaijan’s Nagorno-Karabakh region occupied by Armenia.

A while ago, Yevgeny Satanovsky visited the occupied Azerbaijani territories, where he held a number of meetings with representatives of the so-called regime in Nagorno-Karabakh.
