Azerbaijan allocates ₼6.3M to religious organizations

A total of 6.3 million manats of financial assistance were provided to religious organizations in Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed an Order in this regard.

By the order, 3.5 million manats were allocated from the reserve fund of the President of Azerbaijan, provided in the state budget for providing financial assistance to religious organizations, to the Caucasus Muslims Administration, 400 thousand manats to the Baku and Azerbaijan Diocese religious organization of the Russian Orthodox Church, 400 thousand manats to the Baku Mountain Jews religious community, 400 thousand manats to the Baku European Jews religious community, 400 thousand manats to the Baku Sephardic Jews religious community, 400 thousand manats to the Apostolic Prefecture religious organization of the Catholic Church in the Republic of Azerbaijan and 400 thousand manats to the Alban-Udi Christian religious community of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as 400 thousand manats to the Fund for the Propagation of Moral Values ​​under the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations for material support to other non-Islamic religious communities.

The Ministry of Finance has been tasked with providing financing.
