"Taking into account the information received about the presence of Russian citizens among the crew, we demand that the US side treat them humanely and with dignity, strictly respect their rights and interests, and not prevent their early return to their homeland."

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that information about the seizure of the ship "Marinera" by US military personnel sailing under the Russian flag in the North Atlantic is being closely monitored.
