The Syrian army on Wednesday began shelling Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) targets in Aleppo.

Axar.az informs, SANA, the Syrian Arab Army stated that all military positions of the SDF within the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah are legitimate military targets for the Syrian Arab Army.

The authority clarified that “Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah neighborhoods in Aleppo will be considered closed military zones after 3:00 p.m. today, and we reiterate that civilians must stay away from SDF positions.”

Yesterday, one member of the Syrian Arab Army was killed and others were injured after SDF drones targeted army positions around Sheikh Maqsoud.

Three civilians, including two women, were also killed, and about 15 others, including two girls, were injured by SDF shelling of residential areas surrounding Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafiyah, and other neighborhoods in the city.
