More than 50 merchants protested against the power outage in Tehran's Aladdin shopping centre.

Axar.az informs this was reported by Iranian media.

Some protesters chanted political slogans and tried to post the recording on social media.

The Iranian Energy Ministry said that the light was turned off for only two hours due to the violation of the limit of energy consumption.

For some time now, electricity has been cut off from time to time in government offices, residential and industrial buildings in Iran. As a result, traffic lights do not work, traffic jams and even accidents occur.

Iranian officials, for their part, say it is not possible to increase the amount of electricity as all stations are operating at full capacity.
