Former Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi and former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh have allocated funds to fund former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein's Amman-based defence lawyers' committee.
Axar.az reports the statement came from Saddam Hussein's lawyer Bushra Khalil.
"Gaddafi and Ali Abdullah Saleh sent the money to be paid to the commission of lawyers to Raga, the daughter of Saddam Hussein, who worked in the committee's office in Amman," said Bushra Khalil.
Former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein was executed on December 30, 2006.
