Deputy Commander of the 41st General Army of the Russian Ground Forces, Major General Andrei Sukhovetsky was killed in Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Sergei Chipilev, head of the Kirov branch of the Russian Paratroopers' Union.

Andrei Sukhovetsky was also the commander of the Russian airborne division.
