Iran appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan

Iran has appointed a new ambassador to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az informs the announcement was made by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei during a press conference.

“Iran’s new ambassador to Azerbaijan has been selected and presented. He is a well-known and highly experienced diplomat specializing in Eurasian affairs,” the Foreign Ministry representative stated.

The ambassador’s name has not been disclosed.
