At an extraordinary meeting, Lukoil's shareholders decided to terminate the powers of the company's president Vahid Alakbarov and appoint Vadim Vorobyov to the post.

Axar.az informs that the company announced this.

Vahid Alakbarov, who has headed the company since 1993, resigned early as president on April 21 and resigned as a member of the board of directors. He explained the decision by the fact that the company was affected by sanctions from the United Kingdom and Australia.
