Russia is ready to provide military assistance to China in the event of an armed conflict in Taiwan.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Vladimir Jabarov, the first deputy head of the International Relations Committee of the Russian Federation Council.

"I don't see any reason why we should refuse to help China, but I would like our partnership with China in this direction to be mutual, that is, we also get some benefits from this cooperation. We understand that sometimes some small conflicts can turn into a big war. I think that China is very careful and restrained in this matter. Despite this, it continues to rapidly increase its defense potential," he said.
