Russia's first reaction to the decision to arrest Putin

Russia does not cooperate with this court and its decisions are not important for Russia.

Axar.az reports that the spokeswoman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, said this while commenting on the Hague court's decision to arrest the country's leader, Vladimir Putin.

"The decisions of the International Court of Justice have no meaning for our country, including from a legal point of view. Russia is not a party to the Rome Statute of the International Court of Justice and is not bound by it. Russia does not cooperate in this regard. Possible "prescriptions" for arrest issued by the International Court of Justice are ours. will be legally invalid", - the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia emphasized.

It should be noted that the International Criminal Court has issued a warrant for the arrest of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, an authorized person for children's rights under the Russian President.
