The goal of the West to rewrite history is obvious. They want to create a dispute between the brotherly peoples of Russia and Belarus and prevent the strengthening of the Union State.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"Today, the collective West does not stop trying to falsify history. Textbooks are rewritten, facts are distorted, and monuments are demolished. Their goal is clear - to sow seeds of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional enmity, to inflame linguistic chauvinism, to cause a quarrel between our brotherly peoples in the hope of preventing further strengthening of the Union State," Lavrov said.
